Please read our latest airdrop annoucments inlcuding action items for failed transactions. Please follow the steps and set up trustlines correctly for our second and final attempt on 26th June, 2022.

The XPECTAR Airdrop

On tuesday the 7th of june xSPECTAR airdropped a total of 888,888 tokens to 852 wallets, each wallet has received 1,043 XSPECTAR. There are also some wallets that did not have the xSPECTAR trustline set or did not have it set correctly. This means that those transactions got denied and thus these wallets did not receive the airdrop they are entitled to.

Second chance

We want to give a second chance to those that have missed out because of this. On the 26th we will do a second attempt to drop the wallets that got denied. If you own one of these wallets, please make sure to set the trustline if you want to receive the airdrop. This will be the last time we do this, if your trustline has not been set up correctly during this drop and the transaction gets denied again, you will not receive it.

Set the XSPECTAR trustline

Setting up the trustline is not a complicated task but the process could vary a little depending on the kind of wallet you use. The most common wallet that is being used is the XUMM wallet. If you want to set the trustline in your XUMM wallet, click on the following link and follow the instructions there.

If you use a hardware wallet like a ledger, then setting up the trustline takes a bit more steps:

  • Make sure your Ledger device is running the latest firmware version.
  • Make sure the latest version of the XRP app is installed on your Ledger device.
  • Close Ledger Live as it can conflict with XRP Toolkit.

Go to the XRP Toolkit website (https://www.xrptoolkit.com/connect-wallet) and select your wallet in the menu.

After you have selected the correct wallet, click on Connect Ledger (if you have a ledger). Log in using your ledger and you are now connected to XRPtoolkit. After this, go to the assets page (https://www.xrptoolkit.com/account/assets), on this page you can see which trustlines are set on your wallet and you can add a new trustline too.

Click on Custom Edit and fill out the information like you see above.

  • Currency: 7853504543544152000000000000000000000000
  • Limit: 88888888

After filling out the correct issuer, currency and limit click Next and a popup will appear:

Now you have to sign the transaction with your Ledger and when you get a confirmation and if the transaction has succeeded your trustline will be set correctly for you to receive the airdrop.
